Trade Coalition
The Western Hemisphere Trade Coalition (WHTC) is a strategic alliance of governments, industry leaders, and public-interest organizations working to strengthen trade, supply chain resilience, and digital infrastructure across the Americas.
Our mission is to create a trusted, interoperable trade environment—from Canada to Chile—where goods, services, and verified data move with speed, transparency, and security. By aligning policies, investing in shared infrastructure, and fostering regional innovation, we help member nations and enterprises compete globally while safeguarding sovereignty and sustainability.
As part of this effort, WHTC will issue secure plastic or digital cards that serve a dual purpose:
-
Personal ID Cards – enabling farmers, cooperatives, and exporters to access the coalition’s trusted “data rails” for trade verification and compliance.
-
Banking Cards – developed in partnership with leading financial institutions, allowing users to access their banking accounts securely, receive payments, access credit, and fully participate in the formal economy.
Together, we are building the Western Hemisphere into a connected, competitive, and collaborative trade bloc for the 21st century.
